Visakhapatnam In an allout attack, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday blamed TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu for the death of eight innocent persons who died at a TDP roadshow in Kandukur on Wednesday.

While addressing a huge gathering at Narsipatnam, he regretted the unfortunate tragedy and faulted Naidu's publicity mania as the cause behind the deaths at the stampede.

Lashing out at Naidu, he said "The TDP national president killed eight people for his political benefits. It is so heinous and shameful. Politics is not about drone shots, rather it is about bringing fundamental changes in the lives of people."

Denouncing Naidu further, the CM said "for the sake of publicity, Naidu pushed people into a narrow lane and became the reason for the death of eight persons. Earlier too he did the same during Godavari Pushkaralu in 2015 where he became the reason for the death of 29 people. This is not new for him. He only cares about his publicity."

The CM further asked Naidu "why will people come to your rally? To thank you for your failures? The only two things which people will remember about TDP & you are."
